I can tell that we are going to have an outstanding color guard this year! The drumline will be here next week to begin building an outstanding unit. I would like to thank Caitlin Stephens, Serena Bishop, Victoria Liebee and Dakota Wallace for coming up and organizing the band library. It is great to have SUPER help! Things are and will continue to go in a POSITIVE direction.</H5> <H5>Mr. K.</H5> <H3>&nbsp;From Mr. Robbins:</H3> <H5>Great job this week to all of the new members of the Super Sound Band family!&nbsp; A lot of hard work has been put into the first week of camp and I hope to see the same work effort carry over into the rest of summer and school year!<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Everyone will need to make sure to stay active during the break between rehearsals  this includes, practicing on a regular basis as well as going outside consistently to stay acclimated to the heat.&nbsp; A great way to do both is to practice playing your instrument outside.&nbsp; This will help you project more with your sound as well as help you adjust to playing outside in the heat.&nbsp; It will be hot during band camp! </H5> <H5>Brass players make sure to check with your section leader(s) about mouthpiece purchases, exercises, and any other materials that may be needed for future rehearsals following camp next week.
